Last Night I Heard Everything In Slow Motion – Oliver Tank

Okay guys, I have a great song for you today. When I say a great song, I mean one of those tracks that you just CANNOT take off of repeat.

21-year-old Sydney producer Oliver Tank has been catching fire recently. His music has been compared to that of Bon Iver and James Blake, and if you take a listen to his latest release, Dreams, then you will most certainly be able to draw parallels between him and these other artists. I have been locked away in my room writing preposterous amounts of essays for college applications, and having this on in the background never fails to get my head straight.

Now I don’t know about you, but that song is just hauntingly gorgeous to me. Everything from the faded out voices to the beautiful violins just combines to make something almost inconceivably good. If you like that song, you should definitely go and download the rest of the EP, which is available for any price from here. As a side note, I also thought I might as well throw in the fact that this song was used in a great advertisement for the allowance of gay marriage in Australia. If you’re into that kind of thing, you can watch that below.
